You can set up a checkout tax based on the total value of a booking. To set up a checkout tax:
- Sign in to BookingBug.
- Click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner.
- Click Settings in the left-hand column.
- Click Configure Pricing.
- Under Checkout Tax/Charge, click Change and set the percentage and name.
- Click Save.
By default, the name of the charge is called Tax.
To add a straight booking fee, we recommend instead setting up a booking question under Configure > Booking Settings > Questions. The question can be called Booking fee and can be a check box with a price that is required to complete their booking.
