How do I integrate with Xero?

We know that as a business you have to manage your finances and accounts as well as your customers and bookings - that is why we are integrated with Xero, the online accounting platform.

Our integration allows you to sync all of your bookings and payments straight into your Xero account with each booking created as a separate invoice tied to a unique customer record that is tied to their email address.

 

To first set-up the link between your BookingBug account and your Xero account, simply follow these steps:

 

Click Cog/Settings icon.

 

Click Integrations.

 

Click config in the Xero box.

 

Choose Xero from Accounting Software.

 

Click Synchronize Data With Xero.

 

You'll be redirected to the Xero web site to log in and choose the organisation.

  • Select the Sale account (known as Revenue in Xero)
  • Select the Payment account (known as Equity in Xero)

 

Please note BookingBug syncs with Xero once an hour.

    This process stopped working for us on 6 March and despite numerous emails to Bookingbug support we have not received any resolution.

     

    Please help us as this integration is vital to our business and such issues cannot be allowed to drag out for so long with zero communication.
