Set up email reminders for my bookings

BookingBug can offer the ability to send automated appointment reminders to your customers. These emails can be sent from one hour before the appointment up to two weeks.

To enable these reminder emails and customise the contents of the emails, go to: 

  1. Sign in to BookingBug
  2. Click on the Gear in the upper right-hand corner
  3. Click Settings in the left hand column
  4. Click Notifications
  5. Under Email, click Edit under Send and Receive
  6. Then under Email reminders enable session reminder by turning Send customer email reminder to On
  7. Now you can choose how long before the appointment you want to send the reminder, by clicking Edit alongside the On/Off switch

These emails can be sent from one hour before the appointment up to one year before.
