How do I set an automated follow-up email?

In your BookingBug account you can choose to send either one or two automated follow-up emails once the customers' appointment has finished. These emails can be sent from 1 hour up to 6 months after the actual appointment has taken place.

To turn this on and customise the contents of the emails: 

  1. Sign in to BookingBug.
  2. Click on the Gear in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. Click Settings in the left-hand column.
  4. Click Notifications.
  5. Under Email, click Edit under Send and Receive.
  6. Under Send email follow ups, switch the emails from Off to On and click edit to set when these are sent.

To customise the email, click Customise to show the HTML content of the email.
