Email

BookingBug allows you to customise the Email, SMS, and Social Media messages of your Business. You can determine where emails are sent and received, choose your SMS phone number, and determine the content Customers receive in these messages.


From the Dashboard, click the Cog/Settings icon.


Click Dept Settings.


Click Notifications.


Under 'Email' > 'Basic Settings', click Edit.


Enter the desired email address in which Emails will be sent. (BookingBug sends emails on behalf of you and your Customers. This field will determine the email address that your Customers see when they receive an email. Replies to the email will be directed to your standard inbox.)


BookingBug can also send emails on behalf of specific Staff Members or Resources, instead of the main Business address. Click the Settings switch to toggle this setting on and off.


BookingBug can send an .ics file along with the confirmation email. Click the Settings switch to toggle this setting on and off.


Use the Send Business Address in emails dropdown menu to select the desired email option.


Non-member accounts can be set to cancel/amend their own Bookings, if desired. Click the Settings switch to toggle this setting on and off.


Click Notifications to return.


Under Send And Receive, click Edit.


Use the Dropdown menus to select which emails are sent to Customer and Administrator accounts.


Click the Reminder and Follow Up switches to select the which follow up and reminder emails BookingBug will send.


Click Notifications to return.
