A Single Event is a one-off activity that Customer's purchase tickets for and attend. A company seminar or a corporate convention are good examples of Single Events. Single Events can be held on a single day, or series of days. Single Events do not repeat.
A Regular Event is a repeating activity that Customer's purchase tickets for and attend. A yearly symposium or a monthly festival are good examples of Regular Events. Regular Events can be held on a single day, or series of days. Regular Events can be configured to repeat according to a set amount of time. Hold yearly events or bi-weekly courses with this feature.
Groups are used to determine Booking Questions, and organize your different Events in your BookingBug widget. Groups are optional for your Business and are not required.
To ensure Events are toggled on; from the Dashboard, click the Cog/Settings icon.
Click Dept Settings.
Ensure the desired Classes and Events options are toggled on.
From the Dashboard, click Configure to open the BookingBug Configuration menu.
The Event Settings menu will be displayed. Click Single Events or Regular Events to configure the desired event type. (These Settings will appear when toggled on for your Business. If your Business settings have Staff, Resources, or Services toggled off, the option will not appear on the menu.)
Click Groups to create and edit Event Groups.
Click Templates to view and edit Event templates for use in quickly creating multiple similar Events.
